Tamluk subdivision is a subdivision of the Purba Medinipur district in the state of West Bengal, India. It consists of Tamluk municipality, Panskura municipality and seven community development blocks: Nandakumar, Mayna, Tamluk, Shahid Matangini, Panskura–I, Panskura–II and Chandipur (Nandigram–III). The seven blocks contain 82 gram panchayats and five census towns. The subdivision has its headquarters at Tamluk. ==Area== Apart from the Tamluk municipality and Panskura municipality, the subdivision contains five census towns and rural areas of 82 gram panchayats under seven community development blocks: Nandakumar, Mayna, Tamluk, Shahid Matangini, Panskura–I, Panskura–II and Chandipur (Nandigram–III).
